001   Respect my boundaries and my explicit "no" statements. This should go without needing to state it, but alas. aka if I'm pushing you away in conversation/rp, perhaps take it as a hint to digress/move on. I don't enjoy ERP/very dark situations with people I am not close to and will not allow that to happen. You can flirt, but nothing past. Please send me a /tell if you're curious about certain topics!  002   Generally I'm okay with delving into heavier themes when it comes to RP, but please ask before if we're in a 1-1 setting/party. 9/10 I'm alright with it, but please ask. on the same coin, if anything I ever say/do makes you uncomfortable please tell me so I can fix it.  003   Please understand that I, the writer/player, have connection issues at times and can be hard to respond when chat is flying by. If it gets to be a while, please send me a /tell with the response and I'll respond as quickly as I can.

007   Don't try to 'canon check' me. What this breaks down to is not forcing the mainline game onto Adyria and her logic. This stems from a friend being constantly asked demeaning questions about her character's hobby because it didn't fit how it would 'naturally occur' in-game. Just because it can't occur in what we've seen in-game doesn't mean it can't occur at all.  008   If you have any questions about Adryia or my RP style don't be afraid to ask. I understand I'm playing an XI character in a XIV game and it can get a bit messy in terminology. I'd rather a quick OOC /tell asking for clarification than just running with not fully understanding. I can do my best to answer what I think fits within the realm of ffxiv but things can be muddled.  009   If you happen to look at this card before roleplaying with me, please send me a tell if you're interested! I, Adleline, can be very introverted at times and makes approaching folks for rp a little hard. with that said, if we hit it off, I'm more than open to exchanging discord information!

NOTEABLE NPCS

[      XI EXCLUSIVE NPCS ONLY        ]

DESTIN R D'ORAGUILLE      He is the King of San d'Oria and father of Prince Trion, Prince Pieuje, and Princess Claidie. Destin is involved in many parts of the San d'Oria Missions. He was a quiet but hearty King who did his best to keep the peace between the different Nations around him, even within the Crystal War aftermath. Being the one who brought Adyria and her older three brothers onto his Court to serve him in Knighthood, Adyria followed his word closer than her brothers, causing her to climb the ranks and almost meet the infamy of the fabled Dragoon Knight. After the court hearing and Pieuje's brash arrangement of bodily harm to Adyria in place of Silouane, Destin quietly funded her recovery with the disdain of Madame Jacqueline Archambault (Adyria's Mother) due to Adyria being just shy of 24 when it occurred.

PIEUJE I D'ORAGUILLE      He is the youngest son of King Destin, and Prince Regent of San d'Oria. He and his brother Trion are fierce rivals and will disagree on almost anything. Pieuje was the core reason Adyria is now missing her right eye entirely, his ego and show-off habits bringing House Archambault into question regarding her older brothers Silouane and Elaloïs's dedication to the Royal Knights and accused plot to the assassination of his father and King Destin. He and Adyria were close on strictly business and the same commitments and were quickly strained after the eye plucking.

LOUVERANCE N MISTALLE      The grandson of Francmage, the San d'Orian representative on the Northland expedition. Francmage was found murdered in mysterious circumstances shortly after the expedition, which led his son, Leservieus, Louverance's father, to fight in a duel in order to defend Francmage's reputation. He was disgraced and dispossessed of his lands by Count Teulomme. Louverance is currently trying to restore his family name by means of an honorable deed. Adyria and him have a longer list of similarities than either of them would like to fully admit, down to the forced displacement of themselves from the San d'Oria justice system. The two met before the events of the main game, more-so when they both echoed the want to be in the Young Griffons. Unfortunately, Adyria made the cut and left him to the wind, though they still speak through letters.

ARCIELA V ADOULIN      Arciela is a direct blood descendant of the Founder King August Adoulin. Although Adoulin has dissolved its former imperial system and the royal bloodline no longer has any real authority, people still look up to Arciela and refer to her as princess. Despite everyone else's initial welcoming of her to the group, even temporarily, Adryia felt like Arciela was competition. The two butted heads for the longest time before giving up on the stunts and accepting each other's existence. That would be the end of their bond if they secretly didn't form a quiet love-hate relationship behind closed doors. Some would say they were 'Best Friends'.

LILISETTE      Lilisette is a young, redheaded girl with mixed Hume and Elvaan heritage, giving her an exotic appearance. A traveler through the Cavernous Maws, trying to prevent her father, a knight named Sir Ragelise, from dying in battle. She joined Troupe Mayakov, a dancing troupe performing in San d'Oria during the war. Adyria met her while she was still in the Royal Guard before leaving on her adventure. The two got close and nearly convinced each other to run off and be free. This didn't work as both had their own obligated ties to be stuck to, though they exchanged plenty of letters while on the road.

VERENA      In her childhood, Verena is seen to be good friends with the Goblins residing in Jeuno. Verena possesses a special ability to communicate with animals and Beastmen. She wishes to stop all tensions between Beastmen and the citizens of Vana'diel. Adryia and her became close friends during the party's stay within Jeuno due to their closeness with Annichi prior. Needing to learn the language of Jeuno, Verena taught and housed the Elvaan during any of their stays until Verena's demise.

PRISHE      Prishe is tomboyish, confident, loud, no-nonsense, impatient, excitable, easily agitated, and foulmouthed. Despite this, there are times when she becomes depressed, such as during revelations about her destiny, and the prospect of her immortality. It comes as no shock that Adryia became close with Prishe on the few chance encounters they had. Adyria, similar to how the Cardinal Mildaurion (Later known to be Esha'ntarl / a party member's family member) took in Prishe as her own, Adyria acted as secondary guidance and took her under her wing as a sibling figure.

IROHA      Iroha has an unyielding determination coupled with loyalty to those that she cares about. Throughout the course of Rhapsodies of Vana'diel, she must endure painful deaths on multiple occasions while the power of the Phoenix keeps bringing her back. None of these hardships deters her, and her determination and loyalty cause her great consternation. For her to fulfill her mission, she must keep her distance from the adventurer, her mentor. However, Adyria and she became very close during the few times she allowed herself to be amongst the party, and in turn would follow her into Eorzea where the friendship would bloom ever more.

Adyria Archambault

Adyria was born into higher standings within the San d’Orian monarchy, falling right near the King himself. Her father Thibaud, a former Temple Knight himself, and her mother Jacqueline have a primarily stay-at-home role for her older two brothers, Silouane and Elaloïs, and soon-to-come ten other brothers. While being the only woman in the family besides Jacqueline, Adryia was taught to become more well-kept and carefully followed the homestead/stay-at-home motherly motifs as she was told had to happen. However, Adryia was occasionally drug away from her mother’s lectures to run into the woods of Ronfaure with her brothers Silouane and Elaloïs to practice and roleplay as the fabled Dragoon Knights of Lore, bonding over every played-out scenario, no matter how redundant. As she continued to grow, the same 50/50 childhood play continued well into her preteen years, when she was ever so nudged into joining the Young Griffons leadership by her father and Silouane. A small group run by the royal family to train and encourage younger children to fight in the wards outside their nation, Adyria was not shy about joining up, as it felt as natural as anything she’d known. She kept busy with the Griffons as a dragoon of choice amongst the other knights around her, despite being off-kilter with the rest of the swordsmen, but never let them down, even if it wasn’t anything overly grave. Eventually aging out of the program at 18, Adyria was brought more into the mothership role for her younger siblings as her mother foretold, placing her courtyard polearm up in order to help her family out through odd ends work.Weasling her way through the backside of the Royal Guards with minimal aid from her father, she had made a quiet yet comfortable means of income, which she used to help her eleventh brother, Pascal, in his love for astronomy. Giving into her love for Dragoon, she succumbs to her intrigue and begins a full start as one of King Destin’s few knights alongside Silouane and Elaloïs, as the three always had been. Taking their newfound trust and power in hand, the three would split for days at a time on their missions, Adyria ever seeing either or both during service or just passing between the halls of their sleeping quarters to rest. With their relationships starting to feel colder as the growth from childhood into adulthood sank in, Adyria stopped speaking to either of them when her 21st birthday came and went. In her heart, she knew they would be fine without her, but on the other hand, she knew what the two could scheme if left alone and together.Living quietly within the halls of her family home as she learned of Silouane’s deployment to Xarcabard and Elalo's to Beaucedine Glacier to better serve San d’Oria and, in turn, King Destin. Hearing her mother wail about never seeing them again, Thibaud lectures Adyria and her brothers on the importance of staying in touch with family no matter what. Of course, the lecture was at her while the others rolled their eyes and blew raspberries at the two of them while shrugging it all off. She quietly waited for her turn to go into the wilds of the realm before coming across a stout Galka during her patrol routes with a lost look in his eyes. When she met him with concern and not the usual array of mistreatment that Elvaan gives to the outside folk, he explained his interest in forming a small adventuring party of his own but had been out of luck. Adyria then properly introduced herself to him, giving his name over as Galekun. The two spoke for a bit longer before she had to continue her routes and discussed a rendezvous later that night to discuss more.

When finally meeting back up with Galekun at the local tavern, they briefly spoke about each other's limited adventuring expertise while being met with awkward laughter. Galekun was only a few years older than her, hailing from halfway across the realm from San 'dOria, yet he made his way here on his own two feet. He disclosed his proficiency as a warrior with some knowledge in Corsair, though it seemed to indicate the weariness of both jobs, which led to Adyria disclosing her preference for being a lancer while skirting around the true title of Dragoon. Eventually, the two agreed to form a small duo party under the table, whose name was unknown at the time. The two waved goodbye for the unforeseen future as she made her way back into the Archambault manor.Time drug on like watching paint dry once more; the occasional visits from Galkun kept at least a moment busy. Though, while catching up with him, Adyria was brought aside by one of her colleagues in mention of her brother's return. Embarrassingly, she waved goodbye and made a quick jog to catch up to the two of them, yet she met the wave of the youngest son of King Destin’s, Piruje. Confused about his intentions, she met his wave and was swiftly informed of hearsay from her brother’s mouths. Piruje pulled Adryia to the side and informed her of how Silouane threatened to assassinate King Destin as he returned from Xarcabard with nothing more than a moment’s strike. Baffled by the remarks, Adyria swore to see Silouane and confront him herself, but was talked down from it by the young prince. Instead, she and the rest of House Archambault’s oldest were brought into question, as if the eldest of the family held such ill-regard, what were their children being taught?House Archambault was collectively taken aback by both the King’s notion and the accused threats by their own eldest Thibaud. Jacqueline, Elaloïs, and Adyria made their way to Chateau ‘d Oraguille in fear of what was to come. Inside King Destin, the oldest Prince Trion, Prince Piruje, and the youngest Princess Claidie lined the lavish audience chamber with Silouane in the spotlight. Piruje stood almost a head in front of his father and siblings and began to speak before being shushed by Trion. Disclosing the verbal and written planned assassination of the King, Silouane started to plead his case before Adyria butted her head in to plead her own case on how Siloune couldn’t do such a thing before offering her evidence. When motioned to stop speaking by King Destin himself, Piruje remarked on a way to make it fair and to leave a lasting mark on the house itself to remind its members of the order. Inquiring what he meant by that, Adyria was quick to be restrained, and her right eye was removed with the use of a dagger and some dramatic flair in an attempt to one-up his own family.Subdued quickly and rushed to aid by King Destin and the other siblings, Adyria’s father began berating the royal family with notes of his own time working for them. King Destin and Princess Claidie stayed by her side as she recovered in hospice, even offering their aid in any prosthesis as retribution. Once Adyria awoke in the middle of the night, she had gathered what things she could alongside a raptorskin eyepatch and made her way out and away from the home, only pausing to leave notes for the youngest siblings. Meeting up with Galekun outside of Western Ronfaure by chance, he inquired about Adyria’s new injury, which she shook off and began her way out into the world with him now forming Followers of the Sundown. The two started the long walk into the sunset in hopes of building their adventuring group away from everything else.
